Chris Torres is a PhD candidate in philosophy at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. His research interests include virtue ethics, well-being, digital ethics, and political philosophy. The general orientation of his research is to bring the Aristotelian tradition into fruitful engagement with contemporary practical philosophy. He is currently completing his dissertation on the relationship between human nature and practical normativity under the supervision of Mark Murphy. Prior to studying philosophy, Chris received a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Notre Dame. In his free time, Chris enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and martial arts.
